Georgia Student Media Festival will take place on Thursday, March 18th, 2010. - The purpose of this festival is to stimulate student interest and involvement in all types of media production. This is accomplished by providing an opportunity for students to show their work to an interested audience, to have their work critiqued by a panel of expert judges, and to be stimulated by the work of other students.
If you think you would like to enter this please go by the Media Center and ask Mrs. Brooks for an Entry form. The school will need your entry by February 26th to send to the competition. Mrs. Jody Brooks or Mrs. House will be happy to give you information about this opportunity!

The students then using a stock market page determined how much one share of the company's stock would cost and how many shares they wanted to buy.The students are going to track their stock over several weeks to see if they made a wise investment. Did you know the barn owl is considered a "cosmopolitan species" by the fact that it inhabits every continent of the world except Antarctica? Third grade students are dissecting owl pellets in search of undigested remains of prey.
